About this Artist
The Dresden Dolls (Brian Viglione)
The Dresden Dolls are Amanda Palmer (vocals, keyboards) and my guest, Brian Viglione (drums). Their unique brand of “Brechtian Punk Cabaret” has earned them a huge and devoted following worldwide, but they make their homes in the Boston area. With or without makeup, he is a doll indeed! Fans may like to know that Brian is also drumming for The World/Inferno Friendship Society.

About the interview
- Notes:
Brian also made Kahlua cupcakes which will be featured in a separate upcoming episode. I hadn’t met Brian before this interview, but there’s nothing like spending a day cooking together to fire up a friendship. We were BFF by the time the cupcakes were out of the oven!
